Prof. Bruria Ben Zeev is pediatric neurologist. She is head of the pediatric neurology unit and head of the Israeli Rett ctr at Safra pediatric hospital ,Sheba med ctr, Israel. She is also the head of the Israeli ILAE chapter.

One of her main fields of interest are epileptic encephalopathies, especially genetic epileptic encephalopathies, their diagnosis and treatment including projects related to advanced precision therapy with significant number of publications in this field. STXBP1 is one of the relatively more common genetic EE and she follows ~11 patients with this diagnosis. She is connected to the STXBP1 parents support group and collaborated with Ganna Balagura in describing a cohort of individuals with STXBP1-related disorders.
